The original film dealt with a relationship between a workaholic boss and a retired widower who joined her company as an intern. Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan will play their roles in the adaptation.

Director Amit Sharma is directing the Hindi movie for Deepika Padukone Production. The film's release date has not been confirmed. The late actor Rishi Kapoor originally intended to play the role of the intern. De Niro's sudden death led to Amitabh Bachchan being tapped to play the role.
